What is on the merch rack
The merch rack sits near the front of both stores. Tees and long sleeves hang together by size. Hats, caps and knit ones both, sit on the shelf above. Hoodies and crewnecks fill the rack through the colder months. Below that you will find the small stuff: stickers, enamel pins, tote bags, and the occasional mug. Maybelline, our cow, turns up on more of it than you would expect. Most of the run is printed in the farm stand's own cream and green, and the designs change a couple of times a year, so the rack in July looks nothing like the rack in December.
Farm stand merch, made for the valley
This is the one shelf in either store you can shop without thinking about cannabis at all. People pick up a Farmers Choice hat the same way they pick one up at any New York farm market, because they liked the place and want to carry a piece of it home. Visitors coming off the rail trail in New Paltz, or in from a Beacon gallery day, take home more merch than anything else. The holiday stretch is the busiest the rack gets, and the fall run tends to go first. If a design is on the rack and you like it, that is the season to get it.
Where to find the rack in each store
Merch is a come visit item. It is not on the live menu at the top of this page, because that menu carries the licensed cannabis lineup for each store. The rack is inside, near the front, at both. The Barn at 1 Old Route 299, New Paltz, NY 12561 is open daily 8AM to 10PM, right at Thruway Exit 18 with about 35 parking spots and EV charging, and a 360 virtual tour on its page if you want to look around first. The Fishkill farm stand at 18 Westage Drive, Fishkill, NY 12524 is open Sunday to Thursday 8AM to 10PM and Friday and Saturday 8AM to 11PM.
Maybelline, and the rest of the small stuff
Maybelline is the cow on our labels, and she has quietly become the most requested thing on the rack. She turns up on stickers, on tote bags, and on a rotating run of tees, and she is the reason a fair number of people walk out of a cannabis dispensary holding nothing but a sticker. The small items sit in a basket by the register at both stores, so they are easy to add on your way out. If you are shopping for somebody who likes the region more than they like cannabis, this is the corner of the store to look at.

Can I buy Farmers Choice merch online?
Not today. The rack is in store only, near the front at both locations. Call The Barn at 845-419-2420 or the Fishkill farm stand at 845-440-3647 and a Farm Hand will check whether the design and size you want are on the rack before you drive over.
Do I need to be 21 to shop the merch rack?
Yes. Both stores are licensed adult-use cannabis dispensaries, so everyone who comes through the door needs a valid government-issued photo ID showing they are 21 or older. That applies at the merch rack the same as anywhere else on the floor.
